Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) as applicable to our activities.


What we collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service. Account data provided at sign-up such as name, identifier, or email if supplied. Technical usage data used to improve performance and fix issues through internal crash and diagnostics logs that are not used for marketing. Location data only after your explicit consent. When you choose “Near Me” we request “While Using the App” location permission to show accurate distances. When you start route recording we enable background tracking only during the active session and stop it automatically when the session ends or when you leave the area.


How we use data

We use your data to deliver core features such as showing nearby places, joining a place, recording routes, operating community, leaderboards, and achievements, enhancing security and performance, providing support, and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising.


Data sharing

We do not share your data with any third party for marketing or analytics. Your data is accessible only within our systems to authorized personnel, or when disclosure is required by law and competent authorities.


Processing location and retention

Data is processed within our operational environment. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with legal requirements. You can delete your recorded routes from within the app. You can also delete your account at any time and we will handle your data in accordance with this policy.


Your choices and rights

You can manage location permissions in your device settings and withdraw consent at any time. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. For rights requests, contact us at the email provided and we will respond within a reasonable period.


Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While we take due care, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please keep your login credentials confidential and use a strong password.


Cookies and SDKs

We do not use third-party advertising tools. We rely on internal operational logging to measure crashes and performance without building marketing profiles.


Children’s privacy

The app’s content rating on the store is 4+. However, account creation, social features, and route recording are intended for users aged 13 and above, and users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that such data has been collected in error, we will delete it promptly upon notice.


Links and external parties

The app does not provide services or place management through third parties. If any informational links appear, they are provided for reference only and do not entail data sharing.


Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or functional changes. Updates take effect upon posting in the app or on our website. Your continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
